The Trees

The day wears on…

We are lost. Knee-deep in a sunken forest, it seems as though we have been going in circles for hours.

As the sun dips overhead, we find ourselves confronted with tangle of brush so thick, we cannot push our way through. Our only choice is to turn back… until we see an axe buried in a nearby trunk.

We are presented with a choice. We could turn back and lose the day’s travel. Or we could seize the axe, fell the trees and push forward…

The Conundrum

Your path is blocked by a living barricade. As a party, you must vote on the correct way forward.

  • Travellers may discuss freely.

  • Then, clockwise starting with the Reader, they may vote to CUT THROUGH the trees or GO BACK.

  • If the vote is split, the Reader casts the deciding vote.
